How can I get involved?
Secret Santa Foundation has many ways for you to get involved with our cause!
1. Sponsor a child - contact us if you want to join our list of sponsors to purchase Christmas gifts. A sponsor is assigned a child and provided with general information including age, gender, sizes, and needs/wants. We ask that sponsors commit to spending at least $150 to make sure the child can receive needed items such as clothing & coats and also provide some Christmas joy in the form of toys, art supplies, etc.

2. Donate - The Foundation also welcomes monetary gifts that are used to send our "elves" shopping for a child. This is frequently used by our donors who aren't able to do the shopping themselves or want to help at a lower monetary amount than sponsoring a child entirely. The Foundation also incurs a minimal amount of overhead each year which requires funds.

3. Gift wrapping/event planning - The Foundation hosts an annual event for sponsors to bring their gifts and experience the joy of Christmas giving with one another. There is much to do surrounding this event and we welcome assistance!
How are children & families selected?
Secret Santa Foundation partners with Burke County Elementary Schools and works with the teachers and social workers to identify children that would benefit from assistance. We do not currently enforce specific criteria for selection but instead rely on the judgement and knowledge of the people who know the children and their situation first-hand.
